Gig Posting Policy

1. Purpose

This policy ensures that all gigs posted on Hire in Pakistan maintain quality, relevance, and professionalism, providing a trusted environment for both freelancers and clients.

2. Eligibility

• Only registered freelancers are allowed to post gigs.
• Freelancer profiles must be completed before posting a gig.

3. Gig Content Guidelines

• Accuracy: All information must be clear, honest, and accurately describe the services offered.
• Original Work: Gigs must promote original services. Reselling third-party work without disclosure is not allowed.
• Language: Gigs must be written in professional English or Urdu (based on platform guidelines). No abusive, misleading, or offensive language is permitted.
• Images and Media: All media used (images, videos, PDFs) must be your own or have proper rights/licenses. Stock images must be relevant and professional.
• Pricing: Pricing must be transparent and aligned with the services offered. No bait-and-switch tactics.

4. Prohibited Gigs

The following types of gigs are strictly prohibited on Hire in Pakistan:

• Sharing Personal Contact Information: Gigs must not include personal email addresses, phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, Telegram links, direct social media handles, or external website links in titles, descriptions, or images. All communication must happen through the Hire in Pakistan platform.
• Illegal or Unethical Services: Hacking, spamming, phishing, blackmailing, or impersonation.
• Academic Services: Writing essays, assignments, completing tests or exams for others.
• Fake Engagement Services: Selling fake reviews, fake followers, likes, views, or bot traffic.
• Adult Content and Services: Pornography, escort services, erotic content, or adult entertainment.
• Violence or Discrimination: Promoting hate speech, racism, religious hatred, or inciting violence.
• Copyright and Trademark Infringement: Selling or promoting content you don't own or have rights for (logos, designs, software, etc.).
• Misleading Services: Offering services with false claims, such as guaranteed results or unrealistic promises.
• Personal Data Collection: Gigs requesting, gathering, or misusing personal data without consent.
• Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) or Pyramid Schemes: Promoting chain recruitment or get-rich-quick scams.
• Financial Services without License: Offering investment advice, forex trading, or crypto services without authorization.
• Gambling and Betting Services: Promoting online betting, lotteries, or casino-related activities.
• Weapons or Drugs: Any services related to firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, or banned substances.

5. Review and Approval Process

• Every gig goes through a manual review process.
• Hire in Pakistan reserves the right to approve, reject, or ask for edits before approval.
• Gigs rejected will be communicated with a reason, and freelancers can resubmit after necessary changes.

6. Updates and Edits

• Freelancers may edit their gigs anytime; however, major edits changing gig category or service type are not allowed

7. Removal and Suspension

Hire in Pakistan reserves the right to remove gigs or suspend freelancer accounts if:

• The gig violates any policy.
• The freelancer receives repeated complaints.
• False claims or misleading content is detected.

8. Disclaimers

• Hire in Pakistan is not responsible for the accuracy of posted gigs.
• Posting a gig does not guarantee sales or exposure.

9. Acceptance of Policy

• By posting a gig, you agree to comply with this policy and all platform guidelines.
